What they do well: I think this is a wonderful new Mexican food spot to introduce to the neighborhood. It's incredibly clean, kind staff, big area to sit, quality food, and big portion/price ratio.
Do I think it's the best Mexican food in the entire world? No- but it is good, and it is full of new rich flavors comparatively to other food truck/small Mexican joints I've had- and it has a lot of choices for everyone.
I specifically recommend the grumpy chicken/shredded pork tacos.
I think their specialty is the marinated meat stuff into all of the dishes.
I think they could work on: the parking, and perhaps their marketing or adding "Dailey specials" as an option. I'd also love to see fish tacos added to the menu -

The BEST adobada street tacos around!

Yummy! My husband loves the spicy pork belly burrito and I love the California burrito-that one just needs to include avocado.

We ordered Grumpy's through Bite Squad, for pickup, and it was a great choice. Neither of us had ever tried it, but saw that it was a pickup option in North Seattle, so we gave it a try.
We ordered the Tostadas De Ceviche, two "Grumpy" Tacos (steak & pork), and a Steak "Grumpy's" Mad Burrito - spice level 10.
The Tostadas De Ceviche were a great value. You get two decent sized Tostadas with a generous amount of shrimp in the ceviche. The ceviche itself is reactively mild in flavor, it's very refreshing. Because we ordered for pickup and we're running a bit late the second one was a bit soggy, but that's our fault. Fresh, the Tostadas are a good mixture of textures and flavors. It's nice and refreshing. There was also a nice mild heat as well.
The tacos (pork and streak) were pretty good too. There was a generous portion of meat on both and it was very tender. I'm used to street tacos, so I was a bit on the fence with the cheese but it didn't ruin the tacos for me.
The burrito was good. I asked to hold sour cream and cheese, which they did, and I quite enjoyed it. I love heat and the spice level 10 was actually spicy. Most of the time, when I ask for the 'max' spice level it's okay, but this was actually spicy. It was quite a filling burrito.
All-in-all, Grumpy's is definitely worth checking out. It has really good flavor, great spice and it's quality food. The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because I feel like some of the items are a little bit too expensive, $3 for a taco is pricey and $10 for a burrito, when I can get other good burritos for $7(ish), is a bit steep. That being said, you're not going to regret spending the money to get this. Definitely check it out. -

Grumpys Mad burrito has ruined all other burritos in seattle for me because they are BEYOND good!
I also frequent places like Taco Chukis and TNT but I will drive to Grumpys food truck any day over those because nothing compares! They are my FAVORITE.
I love their staff, they keep updating and rearranging their look inside their restaurant and have plans to update the exterior as well.
They also CATER! AWESOME.
This place is a MUST VISIT.
